"Where I come from, when mortals find out, bad things happen," Ty says, thinking of persistent-vegetable-Rob and how Zeb nearly got his face burnt off after finding out about Axl (even though that one was hardly his fault and all Anders', because everything is Anders' fault, really). "I think I'd rather just be Ty Johnson here," he says. "I've been trying to figure out a way to become mortal for so long, I didn't think it'd be as easy as closing my eyes and showing up in the warmth."
